Treeo-South Ogden Hosts Santa Pajama Drive to Share Warmth and Happiness

At Treeo-South Ogden, a fulfilling life signifies living with intention. This year, our residents have again demonstrated how minor gestures of kindness can make a significant difference in the larger community. Through our yearly Santa Pajama Drive, Treeo residents, family members, and staff united to gather warm pajamas for children in need, striving to envelop each child in comfort, warmth, and compassion.

More than just a donation event, occasions like this beautifully embody our community’s essence: older adults opting to effect change, remaining engaged, and welcoming each season with generosity and spirit.

Where Intention Meets Wellness

At Treeo-South Ogden, we hold that well-being extends significantly beyond fitness routines and healthy dining. Through PrimeFit Wellness™, we champion total wellness, covering physical, social, emotional, and mental well-being. Contributing back is an essential aspect of that. Studies indicate that older adults engaging in meaningful activities experience enhanced life satisfaction, improved cognitive resilience, and stronger emotional health. Volunteering fosters connection, reinforces community bonds, and reminds us all that we have something valuable to contribute to the world.

On December 6, Treeo-South Ogden hosted residents, families, and neighbors for one of our cherished yearly traditions: the Annual Pajama Drive and Photos with Santa. For two delightful hours, the atmosphere buzzed with the aroma of hot cocoa, the melody of holiday tunes, and the unforgettable thrill of Santa’s arrival!

“The pajama drive gave us the chance to support children in our area, and seeing everyone delight in Santa photos and hot cocoa made the occasion truly special.” -Kory T., Sales Advisor

Residents and their families spent time with Santa for professional photographs, grandchildren presented handwritten letters, and everyone savored a warm beverage and festive snacks. However, the core of the morning was the pajama drive. Visitors brought new pajamas in every size and style, snug sets for little kids, soft fleece for teenagers, and warm choices for young adults. Each contribution will benefit the Ogden Christmas Box House, an organization that offers care, comfort items, and essential supplies for children in crisis.

What started as a straightforward holiday gathering has transformed into a cherished tradition that symbolizes who we are at Treeo-South Ogden. It’s about connection. It’s about joy. And it’s an opportunity for residents to genuinely impact the lives of children who need it the most. Events like this reinforce that purpose does not diminish with age. Instead, it intensifies, particularly when you belong to a community that makes giving back feel natural and enjoyable.

The Santa Pajama Drive is just one of the numerous ways residents can live with intention, remaining active, connected, and continually influencing the world around them.

Our community is founded on the principle that aging unveils new opportunities, not constraints. Whether residents are engaging in PrimeFit Wellness™ classes, discovering new passions, or aiding local families through initiatives like the Santa Pajama Drive, they are crafting a new narrative of what it means to thrive in later years.

At Treeo, purpose is not something you abandon. It’s something you evolve into.

Looking Forward: More Opportunities to Make an Impact

The pajama drive may have concluded for this season, but our dedication to meaningful involvement persists throughout the year. From community service initiatives to wellness activities to social events, Treeo-South Ogden provides countless avenues for older adults to remain engaged, motivated, and connected—to themselves, to each other, and to the larger community.
