At Fairwinds – River’s Edge, the foundation of our community values lies in adopting The Three-Thirds Lifestyle—focusing on family, contributing to our community, and making impactful contributions to our organization. This principle will be highlighted in September during our [fifth annual Charity Golf Tournament](https://event.auctria.com/e5b7edc7-3c36-4906-9481-22c640422554/), which supports the [VFW National Home](https://www.vfwnationalhome.org/).
**Join Us for a Noble Cause**
On Thursday, September 18th, Fairwinds – River’s Edge will collaborate with our sister community, The Landing of O’Fallon, along with partners Nurses & Company and Angels Care to organize a charity golf event at Bear Creek Golf Course. This assembly of residents, families, staff, and friends promises enjoyment, fellowship, and a competitive edge—all in support of a worthy cause.
**Caring for Veterans and Their Families**
Leisure Care promotes our “Three-Thirds Lifestyle,” highlighting family, community involvement, and professional dedication. This community-focused perspective drives initiatives such as the charity golf tournament, which is essential to our mission.
Veterans are cherished at Fairwinds – River’s Edge. Supporting veterans and their families is a collective obligation, and the tournament’s proceeds will aid the VFW National Home. Last year, our initiatives raised nearly $29,500, and we anticipate expanding on this success.
